DIGITAL BUSINESS MODELS - INNOVATION - DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGIES
I am Associate Professor at the Department of Innovation Management & Strategy and director of the MSc Business Administration at the University of Groningen.
My main research interests are in Innovation Management and Value Appropriation. My current research focuses on how firms respond to technological change and create and appropriate value from their innovations in turbulent environments.
My publications have appeared in journals such as Journal of Marketing Research, Research Policy, Journal of Product Innovation Management, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Business Horizons and Journal of Business Research.
I am part of the Groningen Digital Business Center, and chair of the Signature Area Digital Business Models. I also coordinate the annual Innovation Monitor held in cooperation with SNN. I frequently act as expert in media, and as moderator for conferences and symposia.
